What could be better than enjoying the spectacular view of the lake at Sand Harbor, while supporting your local community? The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival relies on our elite group of enthusiastic volunteers to help run the Festival every year. Joining the Festival as a volunteer offers many benefits including meeting and working with other fun and caring people, supporting the arts in Northern Nevada and earning FREE festival tickets. Come join us and fill your summer with Shakespeare! Volunteer positionsAmphitheatre HostHelp to seat guests, monitor compliance with theatre rules, clean-up during intermission and after performance. Assist with distributing surveys. These positions report to the House Manager. Dinner is provided compliments of the Festival on work nights. Volunteers must be able to maneuver comfortably throughout sand amphitheatre. Apply Now Back Gate HostAssist guests to reserved and handicap seating, prevent unauthorized entry during performance and, monitor compliance with theatre rules. Apply Now Chair BoothAssist Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival staff with pre-show chair rental and chair returns at the end of the show. Assist with directing people from the parking lot to the theatre entrance. Assist with distributing guest surveys. Apply Now Merchandise Sales AssistantAssist Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival staff with merchandise sales and the nightly set up and clean up of the gift shop displays. Apply Now Ticket Taker/UsherResponsible for scanning in electronic tickets, distributing wrist bands, and ushering patrons into the designated seating areas of the amphitheatre. Apply Now Work Crew(Daytime position) Enjoy the sunshine at Sand Harbor while helping clean & maintain the theatre grounds prior to the start of the performance. Menchetti Young Shakespeare(Daytime position) Help Festival staff to greet patrons, scan electronic tickets, and seat young audience members during our 14 FREE performances staged for children.
